SENIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER
Reno, Nevada | Full-Time, On-Site
About the Role
We are seeking an Interior Designer who thrives in a fast-paced, focused, and collaborative environment and is passionate about creating exceptional interior environments from concept through installation. This role requires an individual with strong design sensibilities, technical expertise, and experience managing furniture, finishes, and equipment procurement. The ideal candidate can seamlessly balance creativity, organization, and project execution while collaborating with clients, consultants, vendors, and project teams.

Responsibilities
Lead interior design projects through all phases—from programming and concept development through construction administration and project closeout.
Develop interior design concepts, finish palettes, material selections, and presentation materials.
Create and manage detailed REVIT models, interior construction documents, and specifications.
Coordinate interior design efforts with architects, consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure design integrity and project success.
Manage FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection, specification, budgeting, procurement, tracking, and installation.
Prepare furniture plans, finish schedules, specifications, and procurement documentation.
Coordinate directly with manufacturers, vendors, and installation teams to ensure timely delivery and quality execution.
Participate in client meetings, presentations, and project site visits.
Collaborate with project teams on a variety of commercial, educational, civic, and workplace interior projects.
Mentor and support junior team members while fostering collaboration and design excellence.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture (required).
10+ years of professional interior design experience, including commercial interiors (required).
NCIDQ certification (preferred, or actively pursuing certification).
Advanced proficiency in REVIT — this is essential.
Strong knowledge of interior construction documentation, detailing, building systems, and commercial construction practices.
Demonstrated experience managing FF&E procurement, vendor coordination, budgeting, and installation.
Extensive knowledge of furniture systems, finish materials, specifications, and industry resources.
Proven ability to manage projects independently from design through installation.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a self-directed, high-accountability environment.
